Hi, I'm Tobie - the face behind the page.   Mom to two daughters, wife to John.  I've made homecoming mums off and on for 20+ years - from "back in the day" when they were a single flower and a few ribbons, to learning the new styles and techniques when my oldest daughter entered high school.  I love watching the ribbon turn into something magical - and the fun the mums bring to homecoming.

Lantana Mum Co. was officially founded in 2025, built on five recent years of hands-on experience making mums and garters before going into business. What started as pieces made for family and friends grew into a full homecoming mum and garter business.

Every piece is designed and handmade personally — no mass production, no outsourcing. Every braid, ribbon, letter, and trinket is placed by hand, with the same care whether you order Basic or Designer.

Homecoming mums are a Texas tradition, and I take that seriously. My goal is simple: build a mum or garter you're proud to wear and that becomes part of your homecoming memories for years to come.
